This course explores the conversations "at the top" which address important ethical leadership issues such as the tone at the top, diversity, systems and metrics. In Chapter 2, the course explores the "mood in the middle" and how middle managers can use tools available to them to foster and develop an ethics-based culture within their teams.
Ethics: Mis and Disinformation and Professional Skepticism
This course explores the importance of professional skepticism as a key element of meeting professional ethical principles and will teach you how to identify, assess and address common techniques for misrepresentation and manipulation of data, such as averages, samples, graphs and charts. You will also learn to recognize common types of bias and how to mitigate the negative impact of biases on decision-making.
Client Acquisition: Ethical strategies for attracting and retaining great clients
Whether you serve internal or external clients, this course will help you to develop trust and credibility throughout the client relationship, while remaining consistent and compliant with the International Code of Ethics for Accountants. You will also learn how to build confidence and influence, to make persuasive recommendations and how to renew and expand your client relationship.
Conflicts Of Interest Unpacked
This course explores and explains the important difference between real and perceived conflicts of interest. You'll also learn how conflict of interest considerations appear in laws, regulations and professional codes of conduct. You'll also learn ways to avoid conflicts of interest when possible, identify conflicts of interest when they arise, and promote compliance in your organization.
